Gaming DooM Awards is our annual listing of the best and most interesting mods for Doom we could get to know, and in its 2022 issue, we have once again nine works that might worth checking out. Brutal Doom v21 Chex Quest Patch

Brutal Doom v21 Chex Quest Patch ( cheques.pk3 ) is a patch that fixes a Brutal Doom v21 Public Beta April 2018 bug that makes the keys that spawn on Chex Quest maps useless to open their respective doors. It also corrects the Brutal Doom armors animations were missing some sprites while playing the Sergeant Mark IV's mod with some Chex Quest IWAD. There are some smaller bugs while running "Brutal Chex Quest", such as some missing textures, some weird messages and shooting noises while the Flemoids are puking, but I didn't bother to fix these because it doesn't screw the gameplay and I'm sure these will be addressed in the future Brutal Doom v21 versions. Too Many Super Shotguns

Too Many Super Shotguns is a Doom II mod created by Bread Knight that adds to the game a bunch of absurd weapons, mainly shotguns. From weapons with tens of barrels and cabbage launchers to Gabe Newell and one that just kills the player, the mod is, sometimes, considered a joke WAD, due to this ridiculous exaggerated weaponry (even though some might disagree). It also modifies the looks of some items, the drops and the behavior of some monsters. The latest version, Too Many Super Shotguns 1.1 , features less weapons but has a shop for you to buy the shotguns and their ammo. Videos The above video is our Too Many Super Shotguns showcase.
