Castle of the Damned Sounds Only

Castle of the Damned Sounds Only is a quick edition I made on the excellent Massimo Ciano’s Doom II map, Castle of the Damned, in order for it to activate only the monsters’ sounds, which were originally ripped from Quake.
This edition was made by request and doesn’t have much sophistication, bringing only the sound effects present in the original, such as the ones from the player, pick-up, teleport and the enemies featured in the map: Hell Knight, Demon (Pinky), Revenant and Lost Soul. Added to that, monsters like the Spectre, Baron of Hell, Cacodemon, Spider Mastermind and Zombie Man also get some new sounds, as they share assets with the others.

If it's worth the while, I can try to make a more complete Quake sound package, using this WAD as a base and stuff.

Compatibility

Castle of the Damned Sounds Only works in any Doom engine, including the MS-DOS one, and non-shareware IWAD.
