Brother in Arms is a Doom mod originally created by Arrowood that adds an ally system which to the epic id Software's first-person shooter.
The Brother in Arms allies are quite overpowered and come from several other games and mods, or just mix elements from these. They are called by radios that randomly spawn with medikits, Megaspheres, Soul Spheres, stimpacks, potions and armor bonus that be accumulated in the inventory and used such as regular inventory items. The allies also drop items like grenades and potions as well.
According to what I saw, the PWAD, which makes practically any map or compatible gameplay mod much easier, had its development being continued by Fegelein for some time.
It's quite cool, but if you want some challenge, you will need some mod with either incredible hard monsters or maps with a stupid amount of these, like Chillax or something. Oh yes, the allies can kill the player with friendly fire, by the way...

Compatibility
This mod runs fine on most GZDoom and Zandronum versions. I probably used GZDoom (1.8.2 to 3.2) and Zandronum (2.0 to 3.0) with it and don't remember any problems. It also needs an IWAD from either the registered classic Doom, The Ultimate Doom, Doom II: Hell on Earth, Final Doom or Freedoom.
