Doom “Remastered” is a set of mods configured in an advanced Doom engine with the objective of bringing improvements to the graphics and animations of the classic first person shooter as much as possible.
The package doesn’t feature any considerable gameplay modifications, even though it can be set within the used engine's (GZDoom 3.6.0 Legacy) menu, and won’t fiddle with any of the maps. The combined WADs are: Smooth Doom (Gifty), Bolognese Gore Mod (Sergeant Mark IV), DHTP (Kurikai), JDUI (Zedas) and Project Doomed (Jay Reichard/Mr. Chris).

Compatibility
Doom "Remastered" is completely standalone, bundled with Freedoom, In the absence of any registered IWAD, it can suit you just fine, but some textures may have normal resolution. In anyway, the pack can also be used with any classic Doom (Doom, The Ultimate Doom, Doom II: Hell on Earth, Final Doom and BFG Edition) registered IWAD.
You can play other mods with Doom "Remastered" simply by clicking on the PWADs, dragging and dropping them over the executable, but note that not all mods will have textures in high resolution or smoother animations on monsters and weapons. This will depend on the resources used in these. In fact, there are some that can overwrite everything from Doom "Remastered", rendering it useless.
