Zagemod

Zagemod is an enhancement WAD for Doom created by silentzora that features quite consistent modifications.
The mod has eight protagonist classes, alternative fire modes for the weapons, quick melee attack, and new monsters, difficulty levels, sounds, HUD, graphics, and various effects. It’s interesting how Zagemod brings several Doomguy versions, from the classic one to the DoomSlayer, besides the Ranger (Quake) and a heroin that remembers DemonSteele’s Jung Hae-Lin a bit to us. Each protagonist has his own arsenal.

I would say that Zagemod adds many elements from other WADs. I noticed gimmicks from various mods on it. But, whether intentional or not, it doesn't matter, since it was all combined, along with sounds and graphics, in an extraordinarily consistent, as well as original, way. The bottom line is that Zagemod is really cool. Who may be looking for something to enhance Doom's gameplay, but without going too far from the classic style of the original game, should really try this silentzora's creation.

In the above video, we have the Zagemod's showcase in our traditional style. The version used was 1.3.2. Don't forget to turn on the English subtitles.

Compatibility

I ran Zagemod here on GZDoom 3.7.2 and LZDoom 3.6.1b4, with the IWADs from Doom II: Hell on Earth, The Ultimate Doom, Final Doom and both Freedoom's phases. It seems to work fine with all that.
